Here for the "I DON'T KNOW's." So many patients & their families come into my office and say, "I just don't know what's going on with me/my loved one." And for me, that's a great place to start! It's my job, using assessments and up-to-date testing equipment to answer that question. I feel that it is difficult to know HOW to treat something if you don't know WHAT you are treating. Mental Health diagnoses often overlap and are confusing. Testing and therapy helps answer the "I don't know's". I do ALL of my own testing to limit errors and provide extremely comprehensive services for you and your loved ones.
Testing helps clarify diagnosis & assist with treatment goals. It helps identify strengths & weaknesses & encourages clients to get better effectively. I have extensive assessment experience in both inpatient & outpatient settings (over one thousand batteries administered). I can test for any and all disorders. I do not prescribe medication.
I offer testing starting for children ages three and up. I also help create IEP and 504 plans for school services. Counseling (child, adolescent, and adult counseling) is offered by me on a limited basis, as most of my current clients are referrals for assessments from respected psychiatrists, pediatricians, and school systems in Cumming and the ATL area.
