I work primarily with clients who struggle due to early experiences that left a mark. Trauma. Trauma often deprives us of resources and skills needed to survive and flourish. So as adults, we end up "stuck" due to persistent depression and anxiety, emotional dysregulation (extreme mood swings), constant triggering of the fear system, and relationship concerns. I work with many clients struggling with- or recovering from- various forms of self-destruction or self-harm. As a Partner Trauma Specialist, I also work with clients who are Partners of Sex Addicts from a relational trauma perspective.
I am trauma specialist working from a somatic, postmodern perspective. I incorporate emerging concepts from neuroscience, attachment theory, mindfulness, and somatic methods, including EMDR, to promote full mind/body recovery.
