My name is Cassie Register and I'm a licensed clinical social worker dedicated to helping adults, teens, and preteens heal from trauma. I have a Bachelor of Music degree from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Social Work from the University of South Carolina. I specialize in working with complex trauma and with clients seeking to heal from past adversity, abuse, and neglect. I utilize a variety of evidence-based trauma treatments and I'm passionate about the mind body connection.

I love to use humor, play, and metaphor in sessions. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches specific to each client's needs, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), sandtray, and solutions focused. I also offer a parent support group and a monthly book club.

My sessions focus on helping each client grow and thrive by decreasing trauma symptoms and starting the healing process. I strive to create an open and welcoming environment where each client's unique strengths are valued and seen.
