I specialize in working with females (ages 12+) as well as individuals in the LGBTQ+ community. (The term female is used in terms of how one identifies themselves and is not solely meaning cisgender terminology.) I focus on different areas of need such as self-esteem, parenting, communication, faith-crises, existential crises, LGBTQ+ concerns (self-acceptance, coming out, faith struggles, etc.), self-harming, suicidal thoughts, bullying, self-harming, developmental phases, and aging, to name a few. I believe you are the expert in you, and I am the expert in mental health. Together we will uncover the authentic you!
I am passionate about providing a safe, caring, and non-judgmental therapy environment as I believe it will help you be able to overcome and move forward in life. I practice therapeutic techniques blending cognitive-behavioral theory, mindfulness, person-centered, and rational emotive behavior theory to you gain insight and return to authentically living.
