Mindful Self-Compassion
Join us STARTING Monday, August 31 for an 8-week training program for those who would like to explore mindful self-compassion to improve their life. This course is the product of significant research coming out of Austin, Texas at the University of Texas under Dr. Kristin Neff and Dr. Christopher Germer. This class will change your life; move you from self-criticism to self-kindness in tough situations and learn how to increase your happiness, resilience, motivation, peace, and compassion for self and others. Self-compassion for Healthcare
This online course is for anyone in the healthcare profession. This includes doctors, nurses, dentists, physical therapists, therapists, psychiatrists, psychologists, retirement home personnel, veterinarians, nursing home staff, anyone taking care of a loved one who is incapacitated in some way. The course is one hour per week for 6 weeks. Learn the skills of self-compassion to build resilience and recover/prevent burnout. Taking care of yourself is not selfish; it is imperative!
