I believe that people experience healing in and through relationships. Brené Brown defines connection as “the energy that exists between people when they feel seen, heard, and valued; when they derive sustenance and strength from the relationship”. Therapy can be a powerful, safe space to experience that connection both as individuals and partnerships.

As both a couples and individual therapist I practice emotion-focused therapy (EFT) with influences from both attachment and family system theories. Additionally, I am a certified Integrated Intimacy Professional; I specialize in bringing a holistic focus to helping couples work through sex and intimacy issues.

I offer a free 20 minute phone consultation for prospective clients to see if therapy with me feels like a good fit. I am a licensed MFT in Washington state and in California and happily work with clients from both areas. Telehealth is an option for clients outside of Northern California.
