The most important aspect of a therapeutic relationship to me is trust. I will provide a non-judgmental and nurturing space for you to feel safe and able to share difficult issues. I have a wealth of personal and professional experience to draw upon, and will strive to understand your experience with compassion. I feel that my job is to help you recognize your strengths and to access your own internal wisdom, to help you to help yourself. Together we will discover paths for you to reach your goals. Each person I come to know, is a gift, and for that I am grateful.
I worked with children, adolescents and their families, in their own homes and in outpatient settings for several years, providing individual, marital and family therapy. I have facilitated therapy groups for teens and young adults, as well as support groups for spousal caregivers. I have provided individual therapy for adults for several years as well.
After working 25 years for Abington Memorial Hospital, which closed their outpatient psychiatry clinic 12/2014, I joined Feeling Better Psychotherapy Associates. In 2022 I established my own business, Inward Bound Counseling as well. I invite you to experience my warm and curious nature, in order address any issues that you wish to bring to the table.
