Empty Nesting Mindfully
This 5-week series supports parents in the transformative process of "empty-nesting", as they perform new roles as parents of young adults, while refocusing on themselves as individuals in new family structures, and in this stage of life. Topics include encouraging the adulting process, launching, boundaries, grief, self-care, finding purpose, new roles & identity, partner challenges and opportunities, and re-forming community. Modalities include in-person group discussions, activities, fostering mindfulness, writing exercises and expressive art exploration. Group size is limited to 8 participants. Groups are now forming.
