My therapeutic approach is based on the premise that the choices we make are greatly affected by the experiences we have had, and our experiences are greatly affected by the choices we have made. This is why it is difficult to get a clear sense of our (active or passive) role in any given situation. In therapy we aim to shed light on the way we have metabolized past negative experiences and seek to understand our relationships (or lack thereof) and our internal trepidations. The purpose of therapy is to rediscover and reaffirm our authentic voice and ultimately become a better version of ourselves.

I strive to create an atmosphere of trust and respect, in which we can engage in open and honest conversations about your concerns and struggles and explore areas in you life that have caused you distress. My aim is for our work together to be a safe, supportive, self-affirming and constructive experience.
