I have over 10 years experience working with people with severe mental health and substance abuse issues. The primary type of therapy I provide is called psychodynamic therapy, in which our first task working together is forging a relationship based on emotional safety and trust, which is important – especially if you've been misunderstood by others.
We all struggle with responsibility, vulnerability and intimacy. We seek meaning in our lives. What matters to me is that you and I are able to forge a relationship together, because our relationship is the crux of successful therapy.
