I'm glad that you're here seeking help. No worries if this is your first-time seeking counseling, I am very non-threatening. I will do my best to answer all of your questions and like to include humor in sessions when appropriate. My goal is to help you to feel safe so that you can explore areas of stress and hurt without feeling overwhelmed. My passion is helping clients learn why they feel disconnected, alone, or afraid. Once clients learn what's been holding them back and then heal, they seem to flourish. They also learn and practice skills for coping with the feelings that sweep over them at times.
It's normal to be nervous about starting therapy, there can be many unknowns. I'm very open about answering questions and way too quirky to be scary or intimidating. We will move at a pace that works best for you. I will be here with support and encouragement until you're ready to move on.
