Hi my hours are Monday through Thursday from 9am-2pm. I enjoy helping people find balance in their lives. Some of the issues I treat include: depression, anxiety, divorce, couples or family conflicts, self esteem issues and much more. I have been in practice for 25 years and use a variety of techniques to help people feel better and use tools well after therapy is over. Some include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and Gestalt techniques. I often give homework assignments so that healthy work can continue outside of the therapeutic session. I see clients that range in age from 14 thru the elder years.
Many people are experiencing anxiety- whether it be from a trauma, social anxiety, etc. I enjoy helping people with anxiety learn new coping skills and relaxation tools. Some include tapping, guided imagery, and deep breathing techniques just to name a few. Sometimes depression and anxiety are linked and these tools can help both issues.
I offer a comfortable, quiet setting that resembles a living room in a home that houses other businesses. Conveniently located on the green of New Milford. Confidentiality is important to me, parking is available out front and I use a sound machine outside my door.
