Relationships are one of the most difficult experiences we bravely engage in as humans. Misunderstandings, inflexible thinking, our own limited ability to engage as well as others limited ability, and trauma, all affect the evolving dynamics of relating to one another. Oh man, it's hard stuff. But we also want and long to be in a relationship. How do we do this simultaneously, avoid and attach? Well, it is a delicate balance and a work of art. I can help you explore the dance of relationships with your partner, family, or children.

Together we will discover your inherent goodness and strengths. In our sessions, we'll explore your thoughts, values, and what truly matters to you. We will, little by little, open that Pandora's box of emotions that have been stuffed down possibly for years or decades. As we do, you will begin to feel lighter, you will begin to breathe easier.

We often struggle with taking care of ourselves as well as being good to others. I have learned first-hand, the only way to do both is to be good to yourself so that you can "be there" for others. We all long for connection but sometimes we just don't know how to get to it. We don't have to beat ourselves up. It is a gentle path we can walk together.

I use intervention treatments such as CBT and IFS as well as ERP for OCD. I value the relationship in the room as the primary intervention and long-term change modality for individuals.
