I welcome the opportunity to get to know you and the unique challenges you are facing. I will work with you to determine how to prioritize your goals and optimize your daily coping skills. My warm, empathic approach takes into consideration the unique issues that come with your culture, ethnicity, gender and sexual orientation. My passion is helping older adolescents and young adults achieve the independence they strive for. I am sensitive to parenting issues and work well with a wide range of issues.
My approach involves interactive, insight oriented, supportive, empathic methods to guide toward life changes. I utilize some DBT skills for coping when necessary. I look to empower clients to make changes for themselves by helping them to understand how their patterns are often protective rather than consistent with their goals.
I offer in person sessions during the morning and afternoon hours and I am conveniently located in Florham Park, NJ. Parking lot is available on site.
