I envision therapy as gardening. First weeds are cleared, the soil is prepared. In the beginning there is much effort. Seeds & seedlings are gently planted & tended with care. As the plants grow & change, we apply fertilizer & water. Flowers & fruits emerge nurtured by our thoughtful attention and supported by the sun, the wind and the rain. There is a path, there is a view, the way forward becomes clear. The harvest is bountiful. How do you view therapy?
My way of working with you will be to meet you where you are, whether you find yourself in the weeds, lost on a winding path, or somewhere in between. I'm rather down to earth, experienced & creative in my approach to helping. Throughout the years I've gathered many therapy-gardening tools and we can decide together which modalities may be most helpful.
