My practice specializes in helping adults impacted by violence & trauma (past/present) Together we look at how these experiences show up in daily life, for example: emotional pain, distorted sense of self, relationship stress, depressed mood, anxiety & grief. We also explore how our values, strengths, needs & beliefs guide our thoughts, emotions & responses. We find ways to enhance things that work & build new strategies to improve coping skills, communication, emotional expression & self-worth. It's possible to gift ourselves a better quality of life.

My work focuses on reflection, information, insight & development. This means identifying & prioritizing problems & changing behaviors. My work also values assigning meaning to life events & developing the personal & professional self. I have 29 yrs experience as a licensed clinician & 15 yrs experience as a Board Approved licensed clinical supervisor in MD

We may be our best selves when we have nonjudgmental & safe spaces to process our life experiences. This applies to our personal & professional selves.
