Do you want to understand yourself better and get to the root of your issues? Working together we will explore your unconscious psyche, find new skills and adaptive ways to cope, and make sense of your internal world and the world around you. My therapeutic approach is individualized for each new client and pulls from my extensive training in: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Psychoanalytic/Psychodynamic Psychotherapy.
Luke is present for therapy sessions.
Therapy begins with an initial consultation, up to two 45 minute sessions. During this beginning phase we discuss what brings you to therapy, why now, and what you hope to get out of our work together. If we both feel comfortable working together and agree to proceed, we will meet at least 1x a week at the same time and day each week.
I understand finding a therapist is hard; you want the right fit and connection. As such, I see your choice to do therapy as a huge investment and leap of faith with a stranger. I see your strength, courage, and need at this moment. Please note my dog is present is sessions and there are 20 stairs to climb to reach my office.
