Feeling an emotional connection allows us, not only to feel understood, but cared for and accompanied on the pathway to change. Most of us have difficulty undertaking the process alone. I have worked for many years with candidates preparing for the life altering procedure of Weight Loss Surgery. This surgery is only one option to the very challenging and distressing issues involved in weight control, and body image. We explore history, current values, and opportunities for change. I join you on this discovery in your life.
I refer to my life's work as "For Matters of the Heart". My work as a psychotherapist involves providing you the safe space to go to the "heart" of the issue, to the pain, to the source of what stands in the way of a fuller, richer life.
