I strongly believe we know what is best for ourselves. Sometimes we need help learning to trust what we know by identifying patterns in our lives, reconnecting to our bodies, exploring thoughts and feelings, and challenging limiting beliefs. Let me be your guide on this journey of self discovery.
My goal is for my clients to feel safe and confident in the therapeutic relationship, and their abilities to cope with their life stressors. I use mindfulness, breath work, movement, and Polyvagal Theory based interventions to help create safety and teach coping skills. I am trained in EMDR and I am certified Clinical Yoga Practitioner.
My strengths are in working with individuals experiencing low self-esteem, codependency issues, anxiety and mood disorders; these are oftentimes correlated with complex relational trauma. Our early experiences influence how we see ourselves and relate to others. Healing is possible through connection, self-awareness and acceptance.
