Hi! I am Nirmeen Valiani, Houston's "Mindful Therapist." My practice motto is, "No issue is too small to be heard." I work with highly driven individuals that value growth and are struggling to keep a work-life balance in today's fast paced world. I specialize in high functioning anxiety (perfectionism, social skills, performance anxiety, guilt/shame, parenting challenges, self criticism, loneliness) and tailor each therapy session to fit your needs and values. Many of my clients appreciate my openness about my own therapy process and find my willingness to share my personal struggles refreshing.
I provide a judgement free environment and unbiased perspective to help uncover unhealthy habits that may be preventing you from leading a fulfilling life and being your most authentic self. In my practice, I use evidence based mindfulness techniques to help you become more aware of and better manage your thought patterns and feelings.
