Do you find yourself wanting more out of life and relationships? Wanting to feel more understood, connected, alive? We're so often taught that it's not OK to be sad, angry, overwhelmed, or dissatisfied. Shame about these feelings keeps us quiet and alone. True strength is having the courage to show up as our authentic, imperfect self. And only when we let others see us can we experience real connection and live wholeheartedly. Whatever your story, it deserves to be heard. When we share our story in a safe space, it becomes easier to own its painful parts so we can gain freedom through letting go--and find healing, meaning, and joy.
I do individual and couples therapy. I work well with adults in their middle years wanting to make life changes, improve relationships, feel more fulfilled and connected. I draw from existential and humanistic theories and incorporate mindfulness and meditation. As a former researcher, my work is deeply informed by the science of emotion and attachment.
I am honored to be trusted with each client’s unique story. In our work together, I'll bring my warmth, insight, life experience, directness, playfulness, and humor. I’ll help you harness the strengths you already possess to find your way back to yourself or to discover more joy and meaning in your life. I invite you to come in and see if we are a good fit!
