My approach to psychotherapy is integrative, collaborative and engaged. I value the importance of exploring the past in order to identify and change those patterns that no longer serve you as they used to. I also draw from multiple theoretical orientations and techniques in order to tailor the best plan to help you accomplish your goals.
I specialize in unresolved childhood trauma, identity development, life transitions, difficulty navigating relationships, sexual identity, traumatic experiences, persistent depression and/or anxiety among others. As a Peruvian-born therapist, I enjoy working with the international community, third culture individuals and first generation Americans.
