My approach as a therapist is a constant theme that runs through all generalist social work practices. This means I have an eclectic theoretical approach that uses a systems framework to assess a variety of points for intervention.
I practice the strength perspective. With this practice, I identify clients’ strengths and then build on their strengths to empower the client. Along with reviewing the client’s ecological perspective, which means identifying your life transactions, environmental pressures (work, family, relationships), and CBT assignment to do at home.
