Adult RO DBT Skills Class
RO DBT class is a skills-based program with the goal of creating a life worth sharing. It is for those who exert too much control over their emotions which gets in the way of overall well-being. It addresses a spectrum of disorders characterized by over control (OC). The evidence-based curriculum follows an eight-month program of weekly group sessions that clinically targets five OC themes: inhibited and disingenuous emotional expression; hyper-detailed focused and overly cautious behavior; rigid and rule-governed behavior; aloof and distant style of relating; and high social comparison and envy/bitterness.
