I am a psychotherapist with extensive experience working with individuals seeking treatment for relationship and parenting difficulties. In addition, I work with adults struggling with chronic illnesses, depression, anxiety, and phase of life events. Counseling and psychotherapy is offered using psychodynamic treatment approaches that vary depending on the person's needs. Therapy is provided via a virtual format. A collaborative relationship is considered an important element of our work as well as a mutual engagement in the work in therapy.
For many years, I co-led weekly groups for parents whose children have chronic medical issues, developmental delays, challenges and disabilties including autism, PDD, ADHD, anxiety and learning differences.
In recent years my therapy practice has included work with adults with chronic illnesses, and older adults facing major changes in their life. Futhermore, young adults seeking additional self knowledge, and who struggle around work and life emergent events are candiates for our therapy work.
