When you need to figure out how to live a more rich and satisfying life, to gain improvement in your relationships, health, or well-being, I can help. In my practice, we work on marriage and family relationships, weight loss, eating disorders, stress, anxiety and depression as well as personality dynamics. I partner with George Pazdral, MD, in collaborative counseling sessions for couples. This combined male-female approach helps eliminate gender bias. For weight loss and eating disorders, I often team with a nutritionist for leading-edge therapies.
Therapy helps you learn and adopt healthier behaviors that are consistent with your intentions. In the process, you gain understanding, self-confidence and a better appreciation of others. Initially we'll assess your situation, then focus on you honoring your feelings while responding to situations from a more thoughtful perspective.
In addition to a master's degree in social work from the University of Texas, I have a master's degree in exercise physiology. This expertise in nutrition and exercise enables me to more effectively counsel clients for binge eating, obesity, fitness concerns as well as stress and anxiety.
