“I am a clinical psychologist specializing in child and adolescent and marriage & family therapy, a researcher and writer, and chairperson of Malibu Global Awareness (support organization for Doctors Without Borders). I am also the proud mother of four professional daughters, and six incredible grandchildren. I love my work, and hope you will enjoy perusing my new web site (http://www.dranniethiel.com). I agree with the late Victor Frankel that love, family and work comprise the meaning of life.
Play therapy for young children, art and journal therapy for adolescents. Relationship counseling for couples and families. I also practice family systems therapy. I provide counseling services for a wide variety of issues, including individual growth, couple relationship enrichment, conflict resolution, blended family, career transitions, tramua, stress, anxiety, and grief.
MARATHON THERAPY: I have found that a very effective means of treatment is to conduct family or couple therapy in marathon sessions. This requires 10 to 18 hours of work over two or three days. This is particularly useful to help families work through an impasse in their relationship.”
