“I believe that all people are able to change and that often they need a caring person to support them in that process. My style is to be very honest and thoughtful with each of my clients and to talk to them clearly about what they hope to achieve through counseling. I consider my work with each individual or couple to be extremely confidential and I hold to this standard with great care.

I use a variety of methods in counseling including cognitive work, relational focus, EMDR and various other trauma techniques. My strengths as a therapist include understanding my clients, empathy, use of a sense of humor and a great deal of clinical experience.

My clinical experience includes work in hospitals, community agencies, and schools before establishing my own counseling practice. My counseling is focused on helping the client improve their lives to the extent they can function without counseling. The services I provide are couples counseling, individual counseling and Relationship Check-Ups.”
