Welcoming the Smart and Unusual - Counseling services tailored to people who are ready for "Life, Version 2.0." Tired of the doldrums? Together we can discover and extinguish patterns that keep you from moving forward in life. Feeling stuck? Out of sync? Let's resolve issues of self-esteem and life purpose and neutralize traumatic experiences that hold you back from having the life you want and deserve. Want to retool so that you can take your next steps towards personal stardom? Why not rewrite the outdated scripts and programs that keep you from moving forward and getting great results?
I help navigate the rough waters of life transitions, relationship issues, and past events that still bring distress. My bountiful toolbox includes modern attachment and relationship therapy models, Lifespan Integration, EMDR, and life/relationship coaching. These, plus 17 years experience, lets me tailor an approach that specifically meets your needs.
I love having smart, motivated people in the room whether as individuals, couples, or extended, 'chosen,' and alternative families. *All* marital and family arrangements are welcome and respected. I am LGBTQ/Kink/Poly/Pagan aware and friendly.

Debiruth Stanford's Groups

The Daring Way(tm) - 8 Evening Sessions

Designed by Dr. Brené Brown, The Daring Way(tm) is a highly experiential methodology and training program to help individuals learn how to show up, be seen, and live braver, fuller lives. We explore topics such as vulnerability, courage, shame, and what expands and collapses our sense of worthiness. We also examine the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are holding us back and identify and practice the new ways of being that move us toward more authentic and wholehearted living. The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills, personal resources, and daily practices that transform the way we live, love, parent, and lead.
