Vivian L Morgan, MS, LCPC, Counselor in Lutherville
I believe in the strength and importance of family connectedness. I work with families, children, adolescents, and young adults who may find themselves having difficulty adjusting to loss, change, adolescent development, and social or academic stressors brought on by school or college. I work with children, adolescents, and young adults with behavioral and emotional issues, ADHD/ADD, anger, anxiety and social concerns. I also provide family therapy to build stronger more resilient relationships between family members. I consider parents as partners, and often coaches, in the process of learning new coping strategies and in supporting their child as they grow to reach their potential.
Creative techniques such as yoga, Qigong, meditation, painting, crafts, and sand tray therapy help children manage stress, develop insight and enhance confidence. Therapy should be a soothing, relaxing and enjoyable experience as we work through and process issues impacting the family.
