James 'Jamie' Martin Hollomon, JD, MS, LMFT, Marriage & Family Therapist in Santa Cruz
Without mincing words, I'm a very good therapist and I love my job. With 18 years experience at 3 clinics and 4 now in private practice, I've worked with about 3500 clients with most mental conditions. Educated at Harvard, Penn and CA State Chico, I have remarkable ability to see through a person's upset to your wonderful spirit and strengths. I'm a great detective at identifying the core issues. I'm romantic at heart, so I love getting people through difficult periods and come out shining! I congratulate you for your courage in seeeking help. Call Me!
From personal experience, I'm familiar with hard childhoods and "dysfunctional" families. I'm specially trained in EMDR, a marvelous approach to relieving the effects of trauma - anxiety, depression, bad memories & anger. I also use cognitive-behavioral, family systems, solution-focus, mindfulness, meditation and other therapies to drive away stress, anxiety and pessimism.
I'm committed to being truly 'present' with you during your sessions - by being deeply aware and caring. My job is to help you rediscover your true goodness, and to find ways to renew your bond, if you're a couple, or parent & teenager - to find joy again!

Partners Enhancing Relationship

When our relationships suffer, we want improvement. (Who wants too little joy, arguments, loneliness, withdrawal, too little sex?) Joining my group with other couples can help a lot, in addition to couples therapy. You might be surprised how hearing other couples' stories can help you change, gain insight and perspective. Give this and try! As soon as I have at least 4 couples signed up, I'll start the group! ----I have 24 years experience working with couples, and just completed a year-long training by the esteemed Couples Institute in Menlo Park, CA
