Dr. Jenks is the Director of the Bay Area OCD and Anxiety Center located in Orinda, California. Dr. Jenks specializes in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for children, adolescents and adults with anxiety disorders and OCD. CBT and ERP are now considered the standard of care and first line treatment for these disorders. An Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is available for children and adults who need a higher level of care than weekly therapy.
Dr. Jenks has received advanced training in OCD treatment and is a graduate of the Adult and Child Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI) through the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF). In addition to private practice Dr. Jenks is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at UCSF.
