I believe our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are inextricably linked. Facing life's problems can be scary, but doing so helps us to lead fuller, happier lives. I will assist you in developing the tools necessary for building self-awareness, resilience, and the ability to take control of your life and cope with problems as they arise. I will provide a consistent, compassionate, confidential environment where you can share your thoughts, feelings, and life goals openly and honestly. I have experience in helping people overcome a variety of mental health issues and life obstacles.
I work with adults and willing adolescents (ages 10 and up) through a variety of clinical approaches, and with children (ages 5 and up) dealing with grief and loss issues through art therapy; facilitate premarital counseling; and use hypnotherapy for smoking cessation, eliminating unwanted behaviors, improving sleep/relaxation, and releasing negative emotions.
I have a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a Masters degree in Counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a certified hypnotherapist.
