Julie Johnson, MA, LCPC, Counselor in Chicago
I specialize in working with people who have experienced trauma which can include but not limited to: sexual abuse/assault, and domestic violence. My focus is a Holistic approach to helping people recover and heal after a traumatic event and learn ways to cope and manage when their world has been turned upside down from a traumatic event. When someone does not heal from a traumatic event, they can develop depression, PTSD, and anxiety. I am here to help you in your healing journey.
I also specialize in working with gay/lesbian issues. The coming out process is often confusing and sometimes met with criticism, and judgment. Therefore, I would like to provide a safe therapeutic environment where you can explore these issues.
I also work with loss and grief , depression, anxiety and PTSD. I work with individuals, families and couples on a vast majority of issues.
