David Klow, LMFT, Marriage & Family Therapist in Skokie
And you? When will you begin your long journey into yourself? In the past, people thought therapy would "fix" them. They thought they would be repaired. Yet therapy can now be seen as a journey of self discovery where you may realize strengths you thought you never had and address weaknesses you thought you could not face. Therapy is a place to be with what hurts while stepping into being fully yourself. In the presence of a skillful, non-judgmental, compassionate therapist, you will have the opportunity to face these aspects of yourself so that new ways of living emerge.
Bringing deep awareness, compassion and commitment to those with whom I work, my approach to therapy is creative and collaborative. I draw on ancient wisdom and modern practices to bring lasting transformation to people's lives. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who brings eclectic and alternative modalities into the therapy when needed.
My offices are in Chicago and Skokie, and I am also an Affiliate Psychotherapist at The Family Institute at Northwestern University. I work intuitively and deeply with individuals, couples and families. I would be honored to have the opportunity to work with you.
