Nicole Davis, MFA, LCSW, Clinical Social Work/Therapist in New York
Everyone deserves to live a life full of meaning, joy and love. Most people come to therapy because something isn't working in their lives, and they need help fixing it. That's how I see my role as a therapist: a partner in your journey to figure out what's wrong, and then for us to work together to make real change. For some people this means developing insight into the issues that are holding you back. Other people already have the insight but need help turning the insight into action.
I work with a wide range of people including adolescents and adults, individuals, couples and families. I've worked extensively with LGBTQ identified people and their families. Many of my clients are struggling with depression or anxiety, issues of loss, health concerns, difficult family dynamics, parenting or infertility.
My approach to therapy is to create a space that is warm and welcoming and to build a strong relationship with you. I'm an active listener, and will be highly engaged during our time together. I want to know your story, but mostly I want to know you.
