Christy Mammini, MA, LMFT, Marriage & Family Therapist in Oakland
Welcome! Taking the first step towards getting help is not always easy and I am here to make that transition as clear and safe as possible. My specialties include eating disorders, body image, depression and anxiety. You will find I provide a warm, compassionate, down-to-earth environment where together we will work towards developing insight and awareness into the roots of the behaviors, beliefs and patterns that are holding you back from reaching your fullest potential and living the life that you want.
We will identify your personal strengths and remove blocks and barriers standing in the way of growth, access to more life choices and deeper more meaningful relationships.I believe we all have the capacity to heal if we listen to our own wisdom.
I understand that beginning therapy and selecting the right therapist can be a confusing and challenging process, please feel free to contact me to set up a free phone consultation. I look forward to hearing from you! Warmly, Christy

Christy Mammini's Groups

Women's Therapy Group

I co-facilitate an ongoing psychodynamic Women's Therapy Group for women interested in deepening their understanding of themselves and how they relate to others. Women in the group bring a variety of life experiences and personal goals. Members share what they are going through in their lives currently as well as their in-the-moment feelings and reactions to what is going on in the group, to gain a deeper understanding of their own feelings and reactions to others. Members find that this sharing leads to richer and more meaningful experiences in relationships, both inside and outside the group.
