Lindsay Legé, LCSW, Clinical Social Work/Therapist in Austin
Do you feel different or uncertain about where you fit in the world? Does it feel like no one understands you? Maybe you came out to someone and they didn't get it, or worse, they rejected you. My aim is to understand what's troubling you so we can work together toward whatever vision you have for therapy. I provide a safe, calm space where change is possible and I love challenging assumptions and going beyond stereotypes. If you're feeling stuck, but ready to create a life you've only dreamed of, let's work together.
I have a passion for working with issues around significant life transitions (some people call me a gender therapist), coming out later in life, relationships, and sexuality. This includes working with individuals that are monogamous or polyamorous and individuals who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, or intersex (LGBTQI).
I love listening, connecting, and talking with people. Contact me today to schedule a complimentary 20 minute phone consultation. I look forward to hearing from you!

Trans Support & Process Group

This is a support and process group for any individual that identifies as transgender or genderqueer. The aim is to provide a safe space where members have the opportunity to interact in a confidential setting to discuss concerns related to being transgender or genderqueer. Examples of discussion topics can include exploration of "coming out" challenges, exploring inquiries related to the process of transitioning, examining experiences of transphobia, identifying strategies for maintaining safety, and developing an identity-affirming support system. This group is for you if you are at any stage in your transition. Visit for more information.
