Dr. Chris Burritt D.O., DO, Psychiatrist in Devon
Are you seeking more out of life? In addition to addressing specific symptoms such as depression or anxiety, I strive to help patients improve their ability to work and love. Helping children and adults to be better emotionally connected with themselves and others in today's fast paced and distracted environment has been a great reward of practicing for me. I am a psychiatrist who treats patients with therapy and I may prescribe medication if needed. Although I completed a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry, I very much enjoy working with adults, couples, and families as well.
I feel I can best help my patients in the context of ongoing therapy. While medications can be an important part of treatment, I find that I can use them more selectively when I know an individual more deeply.
In treating children and adolescents, I conduct therapy with active engagement of the child's parents in the office on a regular basis. This is a key step in supporting a child's health. I enjoy treating all ages and backgrounds.
