James Nee, LCSW, Clinical Social Work/Therapist in Denver
I am in the business of helping children and adults feel comfortable inside and outside of their shell. Trained as a clinical social worker with a vision of a world made of self-acceptance and fulfillment in who you are as an individual. Specializing in anxiety, much of my experience has been supporting people living with Autism Spectrum Disorders and helping adults and children learn how to manage stress and dissatisfaction with their situation. With a clinical basis in CBT, I incorporate Attachment Theory, Systems Theory, and the Adaptive Information Processing model from EMDR to conceptualize my work with clients.
With a strengths based and client driven approach I partner with those I work with to resolve any barriers from reaching their goals.
Along with a specialty in treating anxiety and building skills in people part of the ASD and DD communities I also provide reflective clinical supervision to those pursuing licensure.
