Seasons Family Centre, DTATI, RP, Registered Psychotherapist in Toronto
I am a Registered Psychotherapist with over 10 years experience working with children and adolescents specialized in Art and Play Therapy. In a creative and caring environment, I help young people aged 3-19 explore difficult issues and develop skills to stay calm while growing their self-esteem and positive regard. I have assisted young people of all ages to work through transition, separation, divorce, grief and loss, adoption and socialization issues. Being creative is both professionally and personally relevant to me. For the past several years I have run art programs at various schools, community centres and libraries.
Art Therapy, often used with young children and adolescents involves the encouragement of free self-expression through painting, drawing or other artistic mediums. If your child or adolescent is struggling with issues related to emotional dysregulation, sexual/physical trauma, or non-verbal mutism an art therapist can help.
I am passionate about making authentic connections with my clients, I included their voice in every aspect of my approach and work as a guide to support them to gain a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them. I am passionate about supporting wellness through creativity. Contact me!
