Cynthia Turner, LCSW, LSATP, MAC, Drug & Alcohol Counselor in Ashburn
I love what I do! I can help you turn your insights into action for addictions, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. We may use individual, family, or group therapy, relapse prevention, education, or court involved assessment and treatment. I co-created the Dual Diagnosis Recovery Program for people struggling with both a mental health and drug/alcohol problem and is designed to help you based on where you are in your recovery process. My book "Can I Keep Drinking? How You Can Decide When Enough is Enough" helps you figure out how to have a better relationship with alcohol.
One of my skills is the ability to form relationships with individuals of any age. I will help you find your strengths and give you tangible tools to manage your stressors. I believe that you are more than just your problems and can link you to community-based supports that will continue after therapy ends.
I have assisted clients going through the court process and have been qualified as an expert witness in the field of substance use disorders and mental health services. Please call (703)646-7664 to talk with me or one of the other therapists in Insight Into Action Therapy. Together we can make things better.
