Jennifer W. Walken, Ed.D, PA, EdD, Psychologist in Raleigh
Being licensed as both a Psychologist and a Marriage & Family Therapist, I understand the complete range of psychological difficulties as well as the complex dynamics that are involved in marriage and family relationships, including split and blended families. I have worked with most all ages from preschool children to senior citizens and feel comfortable working with a broad range of problems, most listed on my profile. My purpose is to help people become the very best they can be and to ease the emotional pain and distress which they are experiencing.
I consider the whole of a person's being: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. My goal is to understand you as thoroughly as possible, seeking to get as complete a picture I can of what has gone on through your life as well as what is happening currently.
I especially enjoy working with people going through life transitions, helping young adults, people in difficult relationships, problems of low self-esteem and where there are spiritual concerns. Additionally, I have a passion for helping marriages to work and enjoy a good success rate with this.
