Joel D. Carnazzo, Psy.D., P.C., PsyD, Psychologist in Barrington
In over 15 years of clinical practice, my most valuable learning experiences have come from working with my patients. While we can't change situations of the past, we can work together to identify solutions you take with you into tomorrow. I have a particular interest in working with people who are motivated to maximize what they want to get out of life, and to feel joy in their relationships with others. As your therapist, my approach will be interactive, supportive, flexible, and practical.
I offer individual therapy for adults and specialize in problems related to anxiety, depression, substance abuse, managing health conditions, and life transitions. My other areas of specialization include adolescent family therapy, couple's therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. Please note that I am only in my office on Saturdays.
You are the expert on your life and if the solutions to complex life problems were simple, I know you would have found them already. I will help you better understand the patterns and challenges that hold you back from a more fulfilling life.
