Darlene Weldon, MS, LPC, Licensed Professional Counselor in Parkville
I serve children, teens and adults and have special expertise in anxiety disorders, OCD, and Aspergers. I enjoy helping kids with issues such as anxiety, perfectionism, social and coping skills, self-esteem and behavior issues. With my fully-equipped play room and creative approach, kids enjoy coming to see me and look forward to their sessions. Adult issues include anxiety, OCD, stress, relationships, family concerns, career issues, and self-defeating patterns. My adult clients appreciate supportive listening but also receiving practical tools that they can implement right away, whether it's meditation, parenting strategies, testing, or CBT techniques.
Together we will work in an atmosphere of trust and support to uncover insights, build on strengths, and learn new skills!
Evening, Saturday and daytime appointments are available. Please visit my website for more information and/or feel free to call with any questions or to set up an appointment. My phone is answered by me personally and I'm looking forward to speaking with you.
