Sharon Gardner, MA, MFT, Marriage & Family Therapist in San Francisco
I believe change can happen when there is hope and direction, and I trust healing takes place within safety, connection and support. I am a calm and grounded person, and this makes my clients feel supported and safe. My work as a therapist is supported by training in the Hakomi method, as well as my life experience and 40 years of Buddhist practice. I will support you in developing greater self-awareness as well as balance of body-mind-spirit. You may find yourself stuck in old patterns, following familiar paths that no longer lead where you want to go.
New paths may be less familiar and more work, requiring you to clear away rocks and branches. It can be helpful to have a guide - someone who is holding the map, the flashlight, and who has your back. I can be that guide, supporting you in moving along new paths.
New paths can lead to improved relationships, greater self esteem, reduced anxiety, and healing from trauma. Our work can bring more satisfaction and enjoyment into your life. Feel free to contact me for a brief initial phone consultation. I see clients during the week and on Saturdays.
