I counsel children, adolescents and adults who experience symptoms related to Trauma/PTSD, Depression and Anxiety that hinder their perspective on life. I am dedicated to helping clients to remove obstacles to living a well-balanced and successful life. My goals for clients include helping them to define and maximize their God given potential, while inspiring them to thrive and not strive through their everyday existence.
I have received specialized training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) a therapeutic treatment method that bring clients to a state of healing and wholeness. EMDR has been proven effective in helping clients who have experienced trauma, such as abuse, neglect, loss and negative situation that have impacted their lives .
In addition to counseling couples in distress, I have facilitated several classes and workshops that guide couples towards enhancing effective communication in their relationship. I offer extended sessions to allow clients the additional time as needed to work on issues. I encourage clients to change their life by changing their heart.
