Amber is the Owner of Mindful DBT, LLC and a DBT Therapist and Team Leader at South Dakota DBT. Amber specializes in working with Adults who have been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), Addictions, Self Harming Behaviors, Trauma, PTSD, Depression and Anxiety. Amber is Intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) & Prolonged Exposure (PE). She is currently undergoing the process to become DBT Certified through the Linehan Institute. Amber is also certified in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) via the University of Massachusetts, founder Jon Kabat-Zinn.
Amber offers a Comprehensive DBT/ PE approach including individual skills training session, DBT skill groups and phone coaching as needed. DBT is the treatment of choice for individuals with BPD or self harming behaviors. Amber also offers trauma treatment for PTSD and Mindfulness training.
