Anna Lindberg Cedar, MPA, LCSW, Clinical Social Work/Therapist in Oakland
INSTANT BOOKING AVAILABLE | Are you experiencing burnout...? ... in your career? ... in your relationships? ... in life, more generally? Welcome. You are here because you are ready for a change in your life. I offer both brief and long-term counseling options to help you get there. I draw from proven counseling methods that teach both change-based skills (such as CBT) and acceptance-based skills (such as mindfulness) to help you boost contentment, balance, and connection with others. I love working with adults, couples, teens, and parents.
My therapy style is collaborative and solution-focused. I will help you identify personal strengths and harness past successes to accomplish your goals. I will pay close attention to what has/hasn't worked for you in the past, giving honest feedback in the context of a trusting therapeutic relationship.
It is not uncommon to feel a bit nervous when looking for a therapist, so let me know if there is anything I can do to make the process easier for you. Visit my website or schedule online with instant booking here:

Anna Lindberg Cedar's Groups

Burnout Prevention for Women

Join us for an evening series of burnout prevention strategies, including mindfulness training, CBT/DBT skills, and peer support. This group is capped at a small number of participants, and is held in a comfortable office in Adams Point, across the street from Lake Merritt in Oakland. Burnout takes many forms - and not just at work. Women experience unique forms of burnout due to societal pressures to be perfect. Women often feel unappreciated and undervalued for their contributions. Find support with other women seeking balance, contentment, and connection.

Self-Care Skills Grp for Women (DBT Skills Group)

Welcome to a restorative self-care group for women. In this weekly series, you will learn mindfulness, stress tolerance, emotional wellness, and relationship skills to help you lead a life of contentment, connection, and balance. This is a comfortable space for you to access confidential support and practical skills. We are not here to talk about our problems, but to focus on empowering strategies for better self-care. The content from this group is drawn from Dialectical Behavior Therapy, a counseling style that combines CBT with mindfulness. Call to sign up.
