Dr. Barbara Hall

Psychologist , PhD

"We all have times when we feel uncertain and alone. What we are looking for is a place to be ourselves and to talk to someone who will listen and understand us, a counselor who can help us see our situation in a new way and empower us to make changes in our lives." Dr. Hall's counseling is caring and straight-forward. She believes that healing comes from gaining understanding of ourselves and remembering our strengths.
In 2010, Dr. Hall started Interventions for Serenity because she knows this method is the kindest and most loving thing family and friends can do for an alcoholic or addict. Interventions are conducted nationwide. Rescuing, ignoring, pleading, and arguing simply does not work, but intervention can be highly effective in helping people to accept professional care.
Quoting Love First by Jeff and Debra Jay, "Just as CPR is often the first life-saving step in helping a heart attack victim, intervention is the most powerful step that a family can take to initiate the recovery process. Love not toughness breaks through the denial. Please call or e-mail us.
